SETT was founded in 1978 by the Languedoc-Roussillon Outdoor Hospitality Federation and is now run by the Occitanie Outdoor Hospitality Federation. SETT also brings together six other regional partner federations, including Auvergne and Bourgogne Franche-Comte. It is a recognized international award for professionals, including managers of campsites and lodges as well as hotels, restaurants, guesthouses, beaches, executive and technical managers in local authorities. They are looking for innovative, qualitative and sustainable solutions to meet the needs of both their establishment and customers.
The SETT, which is committed to an environmentally responsible approach, won the bronze medal at the SGS Green Events in October 2023.
