SHOT Show Industry Day at the Range is the official range event associated with SHOT Show, with the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) as title sponsor through 2028. The 22nd annual edition takes place Monday, 18 January 2027 at the Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club, 2700 Utah St, Boulder City, Nevada (about 20–25 miles southeast of Las Vegas), the day before SHOT Show opens.
Unlike the SHOT Show floor, this is a one-day, invitation-only trade range. Invited media, influencers, ambassadors and qualified buyers can handle, shoot and evaluate new firearms, ammunition, optics and related products from 200+ exhibiting manufacturers before they launch on the show floor. The 2026 edition drew more than 2,500 attendees.
Hours (18 January 2027)
- 08:30–16:00 — invited and registered media, brand ambassadors and influencers (welcome to stay all day)
- 12:00–16:00 — invited and registered attendees from the shooting, hunting and outdoor trade, plus commercial buyers and sellers of military, law enforcement and tactical products
There is no public admission and no on-site registration. Attendees must be 18 or older and hold an approved SHOT Show badge. Non-exhibiting manufacturers may not attend.

Attendance is by invitation from exhibiting companies. Invited guests receive a save-the-date in late September and register for Industry Day during SHOT Show registration in October. Prior-year invitees are invited again if they still qualify for SHOT Show. Request inclusion on an exhibitor invitation list by 15 November.
SHOT Show badges also serve as Industry Day badges. SHOT Show offers 24-hour registration from Sunday 17 January 2027 at 08:00 at the Venetian Registration Alcove; badges can also be printed at the range from 08:00 Monday. Do not arrive at the range unless already confirmed.
NSSF provides bus transportation to the range. Breakfast and lunch are sold from food trucks (cash or card). Personal firearms, ammunition, drones and pets (except on-duty ADA service animals) are not allowed. Eye and ear protection is provided (Walker’s).

Exhibitor setup is Sunday 17 January 2027 (Supporting Sponsors from 09:00; all others from 10:00; complete by 16:00). Monday final setup 07:00–08:30; spaces not fully set by 07:30 Monday are forfeited. A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at registration; payment in full by 31 August 2026. 24/7 security starts Sunday. Shipping is through Derse Exhibits.
