It has been a highlight of the calendar for 13 years and draws thousands of visitors from around the world. In 2023, this festival once again impressed and convinced: there were more than 70 stands with 150 brands and over 500 bottlings. These numbers show that rum, not only is fascinating and exceptional but it's also the world's most versatile spirit. Whether you're a novice to the world rum, or a seasoned connoisseur of rum, everyone will find something that suits their taste at the GERMAN RUM FESTIVAL. There is a wide variety of rums to choose from! The participants were also encouraged to satisfy their thirst for knowledge. Over 20 master classes and tastings provided fascinating insights into the world rum. The presentations covered not only taste notes but also production processes, oak barrel ageing, and ecological aspects. Both renowned master distillers and producers were happy to answer questions off stage and share their expertise with visitors.Preparations for the next GERMAN RUM FESTIVAL in August 2024 are already in full swing.
