North America's Largest Consumer Toy & Game Fair 2026
The 23rd annual Holiday Chicago Toy & Game Fair (CHITAG) will run Nov. 7‑8, 2026 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. Open to the public, the fair blends immersive experiences, interactive exhibits and industry showcases. Highlights include the Young Inventor Challenge (ages 6‑18) where kids present toy/game inventions to executives, the Root Beer Float Challenge, IL State Yo‑Yo and Kendama contests, and a Pinewood Derby. Visitors can play giant games (Jenga, Goblet), meet characters like Crazy Aaron’s Thinking Putty, Star Wars 501st Legion, and Girl Scouts‑run activities. The Toy Foundation’s Toy of the Year® Awards finalists, LEGO Formula 1 displays, BOP It inventor signings, magic shows, free Power Sabers, and a Board‑Game Garden add to the fun. Additional attractions feature a Grinch‑themed Flip 7 demo, giveaways (Wigglitz, BOP It, chalk baskets), and meet‑and‑greets with inventors such as Dan Klitsner (BOP It) and LEGO Masters’ Luke Horwath. The event offers tickets, sponsorship, volunteer, and internship opportunities, and includes a ribbon‑cutting ceremony with Rosemont’s mayor and Girl Scouts mascots.
