The Glenglassaugh Scottish Traditional Boat Festival returns to Portsoy’s historic harbour from 12‑14 June 2026. The centerpiece is a flotilla of heritage boats from across Scotland, anchoring for a weekend of maritime celebration. Programming includes live music and dance (Big Gig on Friday, Friday Night Concert, Saturday night shows), a Maritime Raft Race, and a Bathtubbing Fun Run. Visitors can sample the finest Scottish food and drink while exploring a Craft Village and Craft Marquee featuring age‑old craft demonstrations, handmade items, and gifts. Additional attractions comprise a craft market, volunteer‑run stalls, and family‑friendly activities. The festival aims to uphold northeast Scotland’s maritime heritage through entertainment, culinary experiences, and hands‑on cultural exhibits.
