PAX Aus | PAX Aus
PAX Aus Event Guide.
Advice for visitors: Bring comfortable shoes, a refillable water bottle, a small bag for swag, and a charged phone or power bank so you can enjoy the full day without stress.
PAX Aus is a big celebration of games and the people who love them. It runs for three full days under one roof. You can see big companies and small indie teams. The expo hall has many booths to explore. PAX Rising shows the best new indie games. Tabletop areas let you sit with friends to play board games and role playing games. There is a lending library with thousands of games. Panels talk about game ideas, art, and culture. The Omegathon is a fun tournament where people from the crowd play for a final round. There are also tournaments and demos where you can try games before they come out. This event is about meeting friends, making new ones, and getting hands-on with games you love.
To have a good time, plan a little before you go. Check the panel and demo schedule when it comes out, usually about a month before the event. Expo hall hours are shorter than the full show hours, so look at the times for each area. If you want to play tabletop freeplay, arrive early to find a seat at the many open tables. Ask Enforcers or staff for game recommendations if you feel stuck. Wear layers and bring snacks if you like, but also use food stalls in the venue to rest and recharge. PAX has a zero tolerance policy for harassment. If someone makes you uncomfortable or you see bad behavior, tell the nearest staff member or go to the Info Desk right away. Staff and security are there to help you feel safe.
Have fun trying new games and talking to creators. Be friendly and respectful to others. Take breaks when you need them and remember it is okay to step away from crowds. With a little planning and respect for the rules, you can make great memories, try cool games, and meet people who share your love for gaming.
FASTEN YOUR LANYARDS. SO WHAT CAN I DO AT PAX AUS? LOCATION & HOURS. We have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for harassment of any kind.
