The 50th Annual Nappanee Apple Festival (Sept 17‑20, 2026) features three entertainment stages, more than 150 exhibitors, and a full carnival lineup. Highlights include a parade with a military aircraft fly‑over, the Miss Apple Blossom scholarship pageant, cornhole tournament, 5K road run, garden‑tractor pull, kids and adult pedal‑pull contests, a wings‑and‑wheels show at the local airport, and numerous apple‑themed contests such as baking, peeling, and pie‑eating. Food offerings come from over 20 vendors, showcasing a wide range of apple products—pie, fritters, dumplings, turnovers, fry pies, bread, applesauce, cider, and butter—plus fresh apples displayed throughout downtown. The festival draws over 80,000 visitors, combining family‑friendly activities, shopping, and Indiana’s iconic 7‑foot baked apple pie.
