Door County Century 2026
The Door County Century (DCC) is a non‑competitive, scenic cycling event held each September in Door County, Wisconsin. Celebrating its 47th year, the ride welcomes about 3,000 cyclists who can choose from four course lengths—30, 50, 70, or 100 miles—at any point during the day. The event showcases the peninsula’s 300+ miles of shoreline, limestone bluffs, orchards, and charming towns, earning it the nickname “Cape Cod of the Midwest.” Founded in 1979 by the Bay Shore Bicycle Club, DCC emphasizes a grassroots atmosphere, with well‑marked routes, supportive staff at rest areas, and a festive finish‑line featuring food, beer, games, and live music. Participant testimonials highlight the exceptional scenery, friendly community, and overall organization, positioning DCC as a premier Midwest cycling pilgrimage.
