Contemporary African Art Fair 2027
The 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair returns to Marrakech in March 2027, held at the luxury La Mamounia hotel. The four‑day program runs from Thursday 18 March (VIP press preview) through Sunday 21 March (public closing). The fair brings together leading galleries from Africa and the African diaspora, presenting contemporary works across painting, sculpture, photography, video, installation and performance. Special projects and a robust public programme of talks, panels and performances are organized in partnership with local institutions such as Musée Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech, MACAAL, Institut Français and Fondation Montresso. The event highlights emerging and established African artists, fostering cultural exchange and showcasing the dynamic contemporary art scene of the continent and its global connections.
