The East Texas State Fair is a highlight of the early fall season in Tyler, Texas, drawing roughly 250,000 visitors annually. At its new location, 11315 State Highway 64 West in Tyler, the 2026 fair will be held September 25 - October 4, 2026.The fair offers food, carnival rides and midway games, live concerts, a horticulture show, an art show, a livestock competition and a photography competition, plus Senior Day and much more. It is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, promoting education, entertainment and the spirit of competition. The fair prizes a commitment to agricultural heritage, families and community service.What's featured

Since 1992 the fair has provided over $413,000 in scholarships, and its mission includes creating commerce for Tyler and Smith County by drawing participants to the fairgrounds complex.
